Greetings from Stockholm!
Apologies for the lack of posting over the last few days; we were experiencing a lack of WiFi for a few days so I'll try to summarize what's been going on!

Saturday was our last day in Gothenburg. We spent the morning helping to clean and move furniture out of our hosts' old apartment. In Sweden, (and much of Europe) there are very high standards of cleanliness when turning over an apartment to new renters so it was important to do a thorough cleaning. The apartment passed inspection, so please thank God for that blessing. The rest of the day was spent traveling to Tranås. We took a total of four buses and one taxi before settling in around 20.00 (I'll let you do the conversion :D).

Sunday was spent with a local pastor in Tranås and his church and family. We had a service in the morning (all in Swedish, but with some very helpful translation) and a lunch with the whole church after that. It was quite special to be able to fellowship with members of the church and share with each other about our lives and cultures. The rest of the day was spent with the pastor's family where we fellowshipped and enjoyed a meal of freshly-grilled hot dogs together.

Monday was another travel day. We were free for the morning so we slept in (wonderful) and took a walk to a nearby lake. It was a blessing to relax and enjoy God's beautiful creation! In the afternoon, we took a train from Tranås to Stockholm. Once in Stockholm, we took the tunnelbana (subway) towards our hotel. After dropping off our luggage, we enjoyed a dinner with the leaders of Agape Sverige (Cru's Swedish counterpart), Tord and Martha Larsson.

Today we spent much of our day with the Larsson's. It was very encouraging to fellowship with them, hear their story, learn about their ministry here, and pray with them. The evening was spent with some church planters who are doing a variety of outreach in and around Stockholm. We shared a meal with them (including delicious dessert) and learned more about the demographics of Stockholm and some barriers and bridges to sharing Christ with Swedes. We also learned that we have an opportunity to help out at a music festival on Friday (Sweden's National Day), so stay tuned for more on that!
Please continue to pray for rest, and that we will make connections with people and be an encouragement to those we come in contact with.
From here on out, I should have consistent Internet, so I will try to post daily updates.
Hej då!
