Eve of Departure

Wow.  I can't believe that we are leaving tomorrow!  It's gone by so fast but we've experienced so much.  The last couple of days have been more free with time for experiencing Sweden's history.

On Saturday, we went to the Vasa Museum, the main feature of which is the 17th century warship that sunk on its maiden voyage but has since been recovered in a mostly original shape (you can read more about the Vasa here).  We also enjoyed a Swedish dinner with Tord and Martha Larsson and their family and spent more time fellowshipping and praying with them and for them.

Today, we went to New Life Church (which we visited on Wednesday) to worship.  It was fascinating to see how they ran their service (we had Fika in the middle of the service!) and to worship with people from all around the world.  We heard four different languages throughout the service (Swedish, English, French, and Mongolian).  It was a blessing to see what God is doing through that church (you can learn more here).  We also took a boat tour of Stockholm.  It was interesting to see the incredible range of architecture in the city, from buildings that date back to the middle ages to very modern apartments.

Please be praying for us as we are traveling home tomorrow.  Pray for safe travels and smooth transitions back into our regular lives.  Look forward to seeing and sharing with you all soon!
